Charlotte Anderson

My name is Charlotte Anderson. I am the librarian here at Adams Hill Elementary. I have been teaching since graduating from the University of Texas Arlington in 1985. I have my Masters Degree in Library Science from Texas Women’s University. In 1998, I moved from the classroom to the library.

I have a son, Jay. Jay is an instructional designer for KARTA here in San Antonio. His wife, Margaret, works for USAA. They are both proud graduates of Texas A&M University. Jonah, my first grandchild, was born in November. I have two granddogs, Gus and Gracie, and a grandcat, Aggie.

I am thrilled to be working with the great students and staff at Adams Hill. My goal is to make the library a welcoming place to read and learn.

Phyllis Watkins

My Name is Phyllis Watkins and I have worked as a Special Education Assistant at Adams Hill Elementary for three years. This is my third year as a Library Assistant and I really enjoy it. My husband D'Wayne and I have been married for 18 years and we have two children. Our son is in high school, and our daughter is in middle school. We also have two dogs, a boxer, Roxanne, and Daisy, a poodle. I enjoy working with the children at Adams Hill. I look forward to completing my education at UTSA and becoming an elementary school teacher.
