General Pool Rules
for the 1604 pool - NISD Natatorium

We would like your visit to us to be as enjoyable as possible, but for your safety, there are some guidelines that we would like you to follow:

1) If you hear a whistle, look at the lifeguards - Lifeguards blow their whistles to get someone's attention.  Please pay attention to see if he/she needs your attention!

2) WALK on the pool deck at all times - The deck is a textured tile that is always wet and therefore extremely slippery.

3) Always enter feet first. - There are NO Diving Boards at this facility.

4) An adult MUST accompany any non-swimming child in the water - This applies even if the person has a flotation device!  Please hold the child in front of you instead of on your shoulders or back.

5) Lap lane lines are for lap swimmers only!

6) The lifeguards will correct anything that is deemed unsafe or inappropriate.

7) HAVE FUN and ENJOY YOUR VISIT!!!
