Coach Jessica grew up at the 410 pool.
Her two older sisters swam and Jessica followed in their footsteps. She
was a U.I.L. Regional Finalist and
U.I.L.
State
qualifier in the 200 freestyle.
Coach
Banda earned a scholarship to the
University
of
Findlay
in
Ohio
and swam freestyle and backstroke for the Oilers, where she was a
conference finalist for two years before a back injury ended her career.
She
then transferred to
Texas
State
University
and graduated with a B.A. in Accounting. Coach
Banda has been coaching/teaching swimming since her sophomore year in high
school (2001).
