Ana Carey is a native of El Paso, Texas.  She started swimming there at age 5 and continued through high school with legendary El Paso coach, Leo Cancellare, and later at North Texas State University.

Coach Carey is a registered Dietician and currently consults at St. Mary’s University.  She has three children that participate on the team at the NISD Natatorium, Justin, Claudia and Diego.
