If you are needing Lifeguard RE-certification, |
This rigorous course will credit all those who pass with American Red Cross(c) certifications in Lifeguarding, First Aid and CPR. You MUST be at least 15, and there is a swimming pre-requisite that MUST be passed on the first day - For more information, click here.

To help prepare for the pre-requisite swim test, following your registration, you may use our facilities during the fitness swim hours until the last day of the course for FREE. (Please show receipt to the cashier for admission.) |

All Classes are held at the 1604 NISD Natatorium unless otherwise announced.
Class Cost Books, CPR Pocket Mask, and First Aid Kit are included |

| A 1-hr. lunch is offered for each long (8-hr) class day. Students are encouraged to bring a sack lunch or money to grab something from our nearby restaurants. | ||

The Northside ISD Aquatics Rescheduling and
Cancellation policy:
Prior to the class start date, Cancellations will incur a $20.00 fee and
Rescheduling will incur a $10.00 fee.
On and after the class start date, there are NO Make-ups and NO Refunds.
Prerequisites: (swum
on the first day of class)

1) 300 Yd. Swim There is no minimum time requirement, but stopping for any reason is not allowed a) 100 yds of front crawl with
rhythmic breathing to the side or front |
2) 3 step retrieval a) 20 yd swim b) Feet First surface dive to the bottom of the pool for a 10 lb. object that is 8-12 ft. deep c) 20 yd swim back to the starting point with both hands supporting the object |
