My name is Rhonda Miller and I have been in education for 19 years. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in 1988 from Texas Lutheran College with a major in Elementary Education, specializing in Reading. I taught 11 years in first, second, and third grade classrooms in Northside ISD, Katy ISD, and DoDDS in Okinawa, Japan. My love of reading drove me to earn my Master of Library Science Degree from Sam Houston State University in 2001. I have been a librarian in Katy ISD and Northside ISD for a total of 8 years. I love coming to work everyday and feel like I am the luckiest person in the world to be the librarian at Bob Beard Elementary. My wonderful assistant, Margie Poole, has been a library assistant for Northside for 12 years. If there is anything we can do to help you in the library, please don’t hesitate to ask. |
