Meet Mrs. Mindi Acord |

I am Mrs. Mindi Acord and I am the counselor for Kinder and Second Grades. I will be part-time at both Bob Beard and Helotes Elementaries this year. This is my second year at Bob Beard Elementary and my third year at Helotes Elementary. Before coming to Northside ISD last year, I worked for twenty years at a private school in San Antonio – eight years as a classroom teacher and twelve years as school counselor. I hold a Bachelor’s degree from Trinity University where I majored in Elementary Education and earned concentrations in Special Education and Kindergarten. I hold a Master’s degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio where I majored in Counseling and Guidance and earned a concentration in Special Education. I am certified by the State Board for Educator Certification of Texas.
I am a native of San Antonio. I have been married for nineteen years and have a son in middle school in Bandera ISD as well as a grown step-son. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening and doing craft projects, especially counted cross stitch.
I am absolutely thrilled to be at Bob Beard Elementary and look forward to working with students, teachers and parents to help every child be the best they can be. Remember we are all on one team and have one goal in mind - STUDENT SUCCESS! |
