Mrs. Stacie Brown is the Music Specialist for all the wonderful Beard students. She is starting her 22nd year in teaching. She has previously taught First grade, Second grade, and combined First and Second grades. She has been teaching music for the last 11 years. She has taught in several schools during her career. She started her teaching career in Natalia I.S.D. In Northside I.S.D. she has taught at Shenandoah (now Howsman), McDermott, Linton, and now Beard.

    Mrs. Brown grew up in San Antonio. She attended Northside schools Sunset Hills (now Colby Glass), Pat Neff Middle School, and Holmes High school. Mrs. Brown is a graduate of UTSA.

Mrs. Brown is married and has one child, Tyler who is in Mrs. Phillip’s first grade class at Beard. Mrs. Brown loves cats.  The cats that currently reside at her house are Pipsqueak, Melody, and Haydn. She also has a very cute dog , Maggie. While she is not at school Mrs. Brown keeps very busy playing games with Tyler, going to garage sales, playing  handbells in the River City Ringers, and directing the handbell choir at her church. She also likes to play her flute as much as possible.
