Fourth Grade New recorders have arrived. They will be given out during music class. If you lose your recorder please bring $3.50 to Mrs Brown for replacement. You will need your recorder for every music class.
What’s Going On In Music? Kindergartener’s are working on steady beat, moving through space, taking turns, and staying in place.
First Grader’s are working on upward and downward movement of sounds, loud and soft, steady beat, and short and long sounds
Second Grader’s are working on steady beat and high and low, rhythm, and pitch names.
Third Grader’s are working on identifying different parts of the music, rhythm, and steady beat.
Fourth Grader’s are working parts of the music, steady beat, rhythm, pitch names.
Fifth Grader’s are working on rhythms, steady beat, Recorder skills ( 2 playing test required every 9 weeks), style, variations, and range.
