Northside's Bilingual/ESL Department proudly services a diverse
part of our student population. Our department conducts testing to
identify these students so that they may receive the most appropriate
services to meet their educational needs. Each year, hundreds of
students from different parts of the world come through our doors
and go through the testing process for proper educational placement.
Our department provides enriched programs in Bilingual Education,
Dual Language, English as a Second Language (ESL) at the elementary
level, and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) at the
