1st 9 Weeks
We had alot of fun and worked hard, getting off to a great start to the school year.
The photos below were taken on a really fun day when our friends from the Shavano Fire Department came and taught us about fire prevention and fire safety. |

| This tent was filled with fake smoke and we
learned to stay
low during a fire to avoid breathing smoke.

We learned to stop, drop and roll if our clothing ever catches on fire. |

The firefighters let everyone have a try shooting the fire hose. |

The firefighters showed us alot of their equipment and showed us their fire trucks.

| The last lesson we learned was that firefighters were
normal people
that are there to help us if we are in need. |
