Sea Turtle Digital Photo and Video Gallery

Created by Elisa Magee
Campus Instructional Technologist, NISD

The links below contain photographs and MPEG movies that
students may use in creating presentations on the Kemp's Ridley Sea Turtle.
You must properly cite the source for your images in your work.

Most of the photographs and all of the MPEG movies were taken by Elisa Magee and family in July 2002. It was my desire to have photographs and movies available for students to use in creating their own presentations as they learn more about the fascinating Kemp's Ridley Sea Turtle. The purpose of the WebQuest and Digital Photo Gallery is to help students learn more about the Kemp's Ridley Sea Turtle and how humans impact life in the ocean.

Special thanks to the USGS for photographs found on the Photos-USGS web page and for print resources.
Thank you to to University of Texas Marine Science Facility for allowing us to photograph rescued sea turtles.

Thank you to the Padre Island National Seashore for information and resources at the Visitor Center.
