Activity #1:  Math BaseballWhen you get to Math Baseball's website, read the "How to Play" directions.  Remember if you are playing with a partner, you must click on the link at the bottom of those directions so that each of you can enter your own level.   You will enter the operation of MULTIPLICATION (for both partners), then you will enter the level of intensity for EACH partner.  You, and your partner, must chose either medium, hard, or superbrain levels.  You (and your partner) must select yes for "Algebra Style".  Begin the game and have fun!!  Winner will fill in the chart provided by the teacher to keep tally.  When game is complete take the Fun Brain Personality Test, and go to Activity #2.

Activity #2:  A+ MathWhen you get to Aplusmath's homepage, you may chose from one of the four links~  Flashcards, Game Room, Homework Helper, or Worksheets.   Whichever link you decide to go to, you must chose mulitplication as your operation. Follow the simple directions for the activities and if you are able to print out your work, please do so and place in your math folder for my review.  Continue on with Activity #3.

Activity #3:  Multiplication GamesBefore you begin to chose your link, you must know that you CANNOT click on "Computer" to  download any games or programs from these websites into any of the school's computers.  If you think it is a neat and cool website, write down the website and ask your parents if you can download it at home. You may chose from the other three selections~ Interactive Games, Internet Games, or Classroom Games. There are 15 Interactive Games that are all educational and fun.  If you decide to go with the Internet games, the first 5 links are listed on the Interactive link, as well.  The remaining 10 games are just as fun and help with multiplication facts. Regardless of which games you chose, you must go here and complete EACH of the Stage Tests, including #7's (MASTERY TEST).  If you choose Classroom Games, there are 14 games to chose from.  I know we play War, Around the World, and Multiplication Bingo often, but you can print these directions and templates to take home and practice with your siblings, parents, friends, or relatives.

Math is a daily learning experience that all children  encounter.  It is fun and there are many different ways to learn all of its concepts, including the complicated ones!  Multiplication is one of those concepts and is used everyday in and out of the classroom and should be practiced daily.  You use multiplication when you work with money, geometry, time, algebra, fractions, problem solving, and in so many other areas. Math is not just a class or subject, it's a way of  life.  Multiplication is not a complicated concept, they are "facts" for life.  DON'T LEAVE  SCHOOL WITHOUT  THEM.  All three of the activity websites have tons of fun activities.  Check them out at home and let me know what you think, what you liked, what you didn't understand, what you can do to make the games/websites better.
