Clock Timeline 

1.  What was the first tool used to tell time?

2.  In the 1840's what time was the time ball dropped 
     for ships to set their own clocks?

3.  In 1998 about how many watches were sold?
 

Set Time to the hour game

Directions:  Set the clock to the time by clicking the arrows.  Remember the red hand is the hour hand.

1. Draw a clock set to: 
      a.  five o'clock
      b.  nine o'clock
      c.  twelve o'clock
 

Identify Time- The Hour and by 5 minute intervals

Directions: 
1.  Place your cursor on the clock face to see the digital 
     time. 

2.  Click the next arrow.  During this game you will 
     place the cursor over the clock that shows the digital
     time given. Stop when you get to the next game.

3.  Now you should see a game called Identifying Time--
    Around the Clock.  For this game you need to click 
    on the blue clockwise button and move the minute 
    hands around the clock and watch how at each 
    number the time increases by five minutes. Click 
    until you have gone around the face of the clock one 
    full time. 

Question:  How many minutes are in one hour?
 

Test your time skills

Directions: Take the online test by clicking on play to hear the time for each question.  Then highlight your answer in the right column.  When you complete the test, click on the final score icon.  Your score will appear in a window near the top of your screen.  Write down the message you see in your score window.
 

Now you can tell time!
