STEP 1

• Select the names of 2 wetlands from the map below:

• Print a copy of the Wetlands Weather Data Collection Sheet or get one from your teacher.
• Use this sheet to record your data.

STEP 3

• Click on these links to check and record the weather daily for 5 days for your two (2) wetlands:

STEP 4

• Bring your data sheet to the TIP lab.
• Open the Wetlands Weather Project File.
• Save the file to the Weather Folder in your Teacher's Folder on Student Work.
• Use your number or name as the name of the file.
• Enter your 2 wetland areas names, states, and weather data.
• Observe the average temperature.
• Type 2: observation / conclusion / summary / comparison of the weather in both wetlands.

STEP 5

• Go to these links to get a picture of your wetland or an animal that lives in your wetland.
• (You may also use other sources bookmarked on the Kids Search site to find a picture)

• Copy and paste your picture in the space on your Wetlands Weather Project File.
• Cite your source (name of picture. Internet. Title of Wetsite. Date).

STEP 6

• Save your file.
• Print to color printer.
