More About Our Administrators

Hello, my name is Amber Freeman and I am the new vice principal at Burke Elementary. I am privileged and excited about beginning my administrative career here at Burke!

I was born and raised in the San Antonio area. I graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. I have taught elementary school for six years at Paul W. Ott Elementary. I also hold a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from U.T.S.A.

I am married to a wonderful husband who is also in the field of education. My husband coaches and teaches physical education in Southwest ISD. In our spare time, you can find us at the Lonestar Crossfit Gym or running with our dogs, Abbye (a Lab/Boxer mix) and Baylee (a German Shepherd). We also have a cat named Adida.
