Hi. My name is Elma Gloria and I'm excited to be the librarian at Burke Elementary. I have a Bachelor of Art in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Reading from The University of Texas at San Antonio and a Master of Education in Learning Resource from Our Lady of the Lake University. I have previously taught 2nd, 3rd and 5th grade. I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful children. I look forward to working with the students, staff and community.

Hello, my name is Agda Alderete and I love it here at Burke! I believe than the library is a great place to be! It is a world of imagination and facts where one learns and explores through books. I am originally from Del Rio, Texas but I have lived here for about 20 years. I am married to a wonderful husband, and I enjoy being the mother of four children, (two boys and two girls). I am also attending Northwest Vista College to obtain my Associates Degree. My goal here at Burke is to make the library pleasant and welcoming for everyone to enjoy.
