Friends of NISD Libraries and Northside Education
The Friends of Northside ISD Libraries and the Northside Education Foundation are teaming up with Barnes & Noble to raise money for NISD libraries.
From Oct. 22-28, which is National Friends of Libraries Week, the Barnes & Nobles bookstores at Ingram, DeZavala, and Bandera Pointe will donate a percentage of their proceeds to Friends of Northside ISD Libraries and NEF.
To participate, Northside students, parents, and employees need to present a coupon available online, or simply tell the cashier that they are associated with Northside. Coupons also are available at any campus library and at Library Services.
Friends of Northside ISD Libraries will award its profits to school libraries in the form of grants for resources, author visits, reading incentives, and other programs.
