Northside students are busy applying what they have learned from their Career and Technology classes. NISD students are very successful as they compete in local, regional, state and national events.

The Career and Technology programs are dynamic and students learn many new and job applicable skills through the variety of classes offered in Northside Independent School District.

High school students can earn college credits by signing up for Dual Credit or Local Articulation courses offered by Career & Technology. Some courses are offered at specific campuses and some offer classes at the college campus. Northside ISD provides college textbooks and bus transportation from the student's home campus to Northwest Vista College campus. Camp Mickey D’s is a unique summer enrichment program. High School students learn teamwork and communication skills that will help them in school, at home, and in the workplace. The San Antonio McDonald’s Owner Association partners with the area school districts. Teachers from the school districts team- teach with the McDonald’s staff in a fun-filled and enriched training experience.
