Marketing Yourself (9-12)
An introductory course designed as a portfolio-based
personal development course for all students. Students will develop
a systematic approach for evaluating and seeking career opportunities
by discovering how personal qualities relate to successful performance.
Entrepreneurship (11-12)
A course designed to provide a foundation to plan,
design, and start a profitable business venture. A recommended
component of this course is the development of a plan for a new
business.
Prerequisite: None Semester: 1 Credit: 1/2
Marketing Dynamics (11-12)
An occupationally-specific course designed to focus
on the study of marketing concepts and principles and their practical
applications. Students will gain a working knowledge of the marketing
concept and its application. Students are employed for one-half
day in approved occupations such as fashion marketing, food marketing,
restaurant marketing, general merchandising and sales.
Prerequisite: None Semester: 2 Credit: 3
Marketing Management - Career Preparation
II (Co-op 2) (12)
An advanced marketing course with an emphasis on
developing decision-making skills. The development of a marketing
research project is a recommended component. Designed as a second
year co-op program.
Prerequisite: Marketing Dynamics Co-op Semester: 2 Credit: 3
