Last year a new tradition began,
That involved a creative writing class.
An online magazine with a span
That for many more years would last.

A district award the website won,
And we hope to follow in their shoes.
And now we're glad we're finally done,
Even though we leave here with the blues.

Short stories began the year,
And some students had to hurry,
But soon, the message became clear
There was no need to worry.

We've covered every inch,
From reflexive to one-act plays.
Writing fractured fairytales was a cinch
And mysteries give eerie feelings that stay.

A hundred words or less,
Wasn't an easy task at all,
Flash fiction was a mess
But we admit we had a ball.

Through tribulations, we have accomplished much,
And we've overcome many trials.
We've written many pieces, all with a personal touch
Poetry and whimsy are sure to bring lots of smiles.

So enjoy reading our works,
We sure had fun writing them.
Despite our many quirks,
We've created many a gem.
