Roxanne Wernli Brown
to organizing GT seminars. The courses Brown teaches include Independent Study Mentorship, Mind Journeys,
Communication Applications and Academic Decathlon. Before she began her career as an educator, Brown attended Texas A&M where
she received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and later received a Masters of Education at Schreiner University.
Upon graduation, Brown taught at Wunderlich Intermediate School, Webster Intermediate School, Hobby Middle School and Jasper
High School. She returned to Northside Independent School District in 2002 to join the Clark staff. Brown instills motivation in her
students by exuding enthusiasm, organization and dedication in her role as the head of the Gifted and Talented department at Clark.
Brown and husband, Tim, have two children, Barrett and Reeve.
