Charles Kuentz, Director of Bands
Tom C. Clark High School
Charles Kuentz has been a member of the faculty at Tom C. Clark since
1989. Having taught for over 20 years, Mr. Kuentz has been the Head Band
Director since 1992. Before teaching at Clark, he was the Music Supervisor
and Director of Bands at East Central Independent School District and
the Associate Band Director at Roosevelt High School. Mr. Kuentz received
his undergraduate degree in Music Education from the University of Houston
Moores School of Music and his graduate degree from the University of
Texas at San Antonio.
Mr. Kuentz is the Director of the Cougar Marching Band, The A-1 Symphonic
Band, the Cougar Percussion Section, sponsor of the Clark Quintessence
Colorguard, as well as, the director of the Clark Jazz ensemble. Mr. Kuentz
