Introduction

We all must strive to be good "digital citizens" as we dwell in online communities. By completing the AUP training, students will be more prepared to become good and safe "digital citizens." Students will also become aware of possible consequences connected to their online behavior. "Let the choices you make today be decisions you can live with tomorrow."

A newly released draft of NETS Technology Standards for Students reads, "Students understand human, cultural, and societal issues related to technology and practice legal and ethical behavior."
