Your PR team needs a name and some people to fill the positions on the PR team so your first task is agree on a PR team name.
Following deciding on a team name, you need to decide who will do what for the team. The positions on the team are as follows:
Account Executive: Oversees the work of the entire team and coordinates efforts. Does additional research for the team when required. Coordinates directly with the client (who is the teacher).
Presenter: Is the main spokesperson during the formal presentation for the class. Needs to know all of the information to answer questions during the question and answer period. The position of Presenter and Account Executive can be combined for a three person team if necessary.
Print Media: Creates a poster and any handouts to be used during the presentation. Often makes the first impression which is very important during the presentation.
Multimedia: Creates the PowerPoint for the presentation. Works very closely with the presenter as the presentation needs to address all points of the presenter’s delivery.
Your team's task is to prepare a 4 minute presentation using a PowerPoint and a poster to sell your client's proposed source of energy above the rest. Your presentation must include the advantages of your particular energy source while addressing its liabilities. There will be a 3 minute question and answer period after your presentation, be prepared to answer any questions about your client's proposed energy source at that time.
