LESSON TITLE: Research forms of prejudice

NISD PERFORMANCE STANDARD:

V.  The student will expand his/her knowledge or research skills necessary to access, analyze, and evaluate information
  1. Access both print and non-print sources of information to include periodicals, Internet, databases, primary sources and other materials.
  2. Gather and synthesize research data for different aims and audiences.
  3. Determine the validity of the information.
  4. Document sources of information accurately, using recognized documentation styles through internal documentation, works cited, and bibliographies.
  5. Demonstrate a high standard of ethical and personal responsibility with regard to research.

The student will research cases of racial, sexual, social, or religious prejudice, evaluate their social impact, and incorporate the research into written research paper.
