ANY text copied and pasted from the Internet should be rewritten in your own words AND cited appropriately. A website is copyrighted as soon as it is posted to the Internet. From a copyrighted source, Fair Use states no more than 5 Images can be used in a school setting if the source is cited. Portions of Music/Video copied from the Internet can be used in a school setting if the source is cited. However, Fair Use states music or video is limited to a small percentage of the original work. The basic rule is that 10% of a work may be used in a school setting as long as the source is cited.

Example--Northside Logo you saved would be cited as:
NISD Home-Netscape [Online] Available http://www.nisd.net, current date.
