A TRIP ACROSS THE CITIES OF

EUROPA

Europe has long been home to some of the oldest and most influential cities on earth. Many of the world's great ideas, art, music, architecture, philosophies, fashions, foods, and technologies have their origins in these centures-old urban giants.

For this assignment, you will plan a trip to at least five major European cities in at least five European countries. Your trip should last for at least one week, and it will require you to research the following:

Cost of Airfare (to and from Europe)
Cost of Eural pass ( or bus if you don't use the train)
Cost of your hotel (cost of each hotel or one hotel cost multiplied by the # of days
Major historic sites or areas of interest (3 per city)

After you have researched these four items you will then need to make a Travel Brochure which advertises your trip to Europe. This travel brochure should have:

The information you researched (no plagiarism!)
Illustrations (saved from Internet, printed from Internet, scanned, drawn or cut from magazines)
Price of trip (total cost)
Should attempt to "sell" your trip

Your Grade will be based on:

Fulfillment of requirements (70 pts)

Neatness, creativity and effort (30 pts)

This means that you receive a "70" for only doing what you're required to do, and the additional 30 points will have to be earned. Some suggestions for extra points are:

Going to more than five cities or countries
Providing short descriptions or histories of your cities
Including a detailed cost sheet (meals, entrance fees, etc.)
Pics or illustrations of sites or points of interest

You should also include a short Bibliography (Internet sites should include Dates) This will be due approximately two weeks from today. Get started now, and don't put it off until the night before it is due. This will count as two daily grades.
