Cool Text and Buttons
In this tutorial you will learn how to jazz up your web page by creating
text effects and buttons. There are two web sites that can be utilized
to create these effects. Examples of Cool Text and buttons are shown
below:
COOL TEXT

Go to http://www.cooltext.com

Click on one of the options under Logos

Click on Logo at the top
-
Choose a style, such as Simple

Type text of your choice in the Logo Text box

Click on the delta next to font and select a font of your choice
-
Change the font size to something of your choice
-
Click on the background color
-
Pick a shade for R, G, and B
-
The box at the bottom shows the color the background will be and the hexadecimal
number
-
Change the text color to a color that will show up on the background
-
Click on create logo
-
You will get a message that says it is rendering your job
-
Once your logo is rendered, right click on the image
-
Select Save Image as
-
Save the image to your computer with an appropriate name

Click on Buttons

Select a design
-
Type text of your choice in the Text String box

Select a font
-
Select a size
-
Change the Text, First, Second, & Background colors to colors of your
choice

Click on Render
-
Right click on the button
-
Select Save Image as
-
Save the image to your computer with an appropriate name

Go to http://www.cooltext.com

Click on Bullets
-
Select and Object Type
-
Leave the Rotations on zero (later you might change them and note the changes)

Under Rendering Options, leave 32 colors and change the size to size of
your choice

Select Base and Mix colors of your choice
-
Select something for the surface
-
Select Light Properties
-
Click on Render
-
Right click on the button
-
Select Save Image as
-
Save the image to your computer with an appropriate name
BUTTON MAKER

Go to http://buttonmaker.com

Go to Method 2 and select Browse
-
Select a picture of your choice
-
Click on open
-
Click on Make Button
-
Make selections of your choice
-
Click on Make Button
-
Right click on the button
-
Selece Save Image As
-
Save to your computer with a different name than the original picture
-
Open your button in photo editor
-
Change the size to approximately the size you want for the button
-
Save this image with a different name
-
You may notice that your picture will be very small

Click on make banner

Pick a color

Set your dimension or use the default
