MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Kelly Smith

Kelly Smith is an Instructional Technology Specialist in the Northside Independent School District in San Antonio, Texas. Her areas of expertise include curriculum writing, technology-related staff development, multimedia development and Web-based instructional design and publishing. Kelly taught high school mathematics and computer science for 18 years, both in Indiana and Texas public schools.

Kelly's undergraduate and graduate majors were mathematics, computer science, marketing, and education.  She considers herself a lifelong learner, as well as a lifelong teacher, and is presently taking courses in educational leadership at UTSA. Kelly enjoys sharing her knowledge and experiences with other educators by presenting workshops and speaking at various state and national educational technology conferences.
