Guidelines
Entries may be submitted
by an individual or teams
of up to six Northside ISD student members. The exception to this
is the "Class Project" category (any
type of digital media product, where the entire class
had significant "hands-on" with technology to create a
SINGLE product).
Each entry must be sponsored
by a Northside ISD teacher or Campus Instructional Technologist.
All entries must be student-produced.
However, guidance and instruction may be given by sponsoring adults. Younger
students may need more guidance and technical assistance. Sponsors, parents,
or other interested parties older than the entrys grade level should
not develop and/or produce the entry.
Entries must be begun and
completed during the 2002-2003 school year.
Each entry must be submitted
on a CD or diskette. Each CD or diskette must be labeled with: Title of
Project, Student Name(s), Sponsor, Grade Level Category, Product Category,
and Campus. Any
entry
that is not labeled completely
will be disqualified.
All entries become the property
of Northside ISD and no entries will be returned.
All
product entries must be received at
the Instructional Technology Office,
addressed to the attention of Beverly Ahr, between
November 1, 2003 and April 9, 2004.
Additional Guidelines for
Special Education Students:
Special Ed. students
who are working 2 years or more below grade level should be entered
into the appropriate Grade level they are enrolled in for the Alternate
Curriculum category.
Teachers should use discretion
depending upon each student's abilities as to whether the student should
be entered in the regular category or the alternate curriculum category.
The alternate curriculum category will be more for AMC type students
and some local curriculum students.
