entry may be submitted by an individual or teams of up to five
Northside ISD students. Each entry must be sponsored by a Northside ISD teacher or Campus Instructional Technologist at the submitting campus. Elementary Schools are limited to 25 entries, Middle Schools to 40 entries, and High Schools to 60 entries. Each entry must be submitted to the CIT on your campus for processing. If more than the permitted number of entries are submitted to the CIT, a campus committee must select from these entries for district submission. All entries must be submitted in the specified file format (see each category description for details). All entries must be student-produced. However, guidance and instruction may be given by sponsoring adults. Younger students may need more guidance and technical assistance. Sponsors, parents, or other interested parties older than the student’s grade level should not develop and/or produce the entry. All entries must be computer generated. All entries must have an ACADEMIC FOCUS. Entries must adhere to all applicable copyright laws. (See Fair Use Guidelines for Educational Multimedia. Products will NOT be posted on the Web.) Entries must have been produced during the 2007-2008 school year. Each entry must be submitted on an individual CD or disk. Each entry must be labeled using the CD template or disk template. An entry not labeled completely will be disqualified. All entries become the property of Northside ISD and no entries will be returned. All entries must be received at the Technology Services Division office, 6632 Bandera Road, Bldg. D, 78238 addressed to the attention of Rose Parks, between January 22, 2008 and April 1, 2008. No entries will be accepted later than 5:00 PM on April 1, 2008. The "Digi Awards" will be held at Warren High School. Elementary "Digi Awards" will be held on May 21, 2008 and the Secondary "Digi Awards" will be May 22, 2008 . The "Digi Awards" will begin at 6:00 PM, with refreshments following the ceremony. |
