Ed Cody Elementary is named for Mr. Edmund D. Cody. As a teacher, principal, and superintendent of schools, Mr. Cody spent thirty-one years guiding the growth of the Northside Independent School District from a rural school system with eight grades in six schools, to an urban/suburban system with their-six schools, grades kindergarten through twelve. Today, Mr. Cody can still be seen visiting his namesake campus several times a year to participate in events such as the annual Cody Corral Night. We love you Mr. Cody! |
