Learning Links Library Policies
Circulation:
Each class visits the library every six days. Students may select from over 12,000 books.
Students: Books may be checked out for 2 weeks at a time.
Parents: Parents are welcome to set up an account to check out books. Parents may check out up to 5 books for a two week period.
No fines are assessed for overdue books.
Lost And Damaged Books:
If a book is lost or damaged beyond repair ( any kind of liquid damage will generally render a book totally damaged), the user will be requested to pay for the replacement cost of the book.
Computer Use:
The Colonies North library has nine computers for students, staff, and parent use. These computers are networked and have online access. In order to use a library computer for any reason, students must have permission on file from a parent ( as per NISD policy).
