Julie Ann Matonis joined the Communications Department in September 2004 as the producer/host of Inside Northside, NISD-TV's monthly news magazine. Prior to joining NISD-TV Julie Ann worked as an Assignment Editor for News 9 San Antonio. She also worked as an intern for Tribune Broadcasting's Washington D.C. bureau and for KMOL (now WOAI) in San Antonio.
Julie Ann received her degree in Broadcast Journalism from Texas Christian University in May 2003. While in college, she also worked as a freelance reporter for Fort Worth City Cable. Julie Ann attended school in Northside and was Valedictorian of the first graduating class from Communications Arts High School.
