Communications Arts High School is a magnet school located on the William Howard Taft campus as a "school within a school." Our mission is to prepare students for success in college, in the work place, and in life by providing a challenging academic program focusing on the development of exceptional skills in communications.
Communications Arts opened in the fall of 1995 with approximately 120 students and eight faculty members. We received our National Honor Society charter in the fall of 1997 and held our first induction ceremony in the spring of 1998. The 63 charter members of the Class of 1999 led Communications Arts into its first year as a complete school with four grade levels and a faculty of twenty.
