TxDOT Adopt-A-Highway- 1st Saturday following the monthly chapter meeting Since the spring of 2000, the Communications Arts High School Chapter of NHS has participated in the Texas Department of Transportation's Adopt-A-Highway Program. Our stretch of highway is FM 1560 between Bandera Road and Loop 1604. During the school year, members pick up trash once a month. To participate in a trash pick-up, members are required to submit a Trash Pick-up Permission Slip. Earn 3 chapter service points for each Adopt-a-Highway trash pick-up.   Campus Trash Pick Up - 2nd Thursday every month Help clean up the Taft/CAHS campus by meeting at the front of CAHS at 4:15. Earn 1 chapter point for each campus trash pick-up.
