Multimedia II - Class Policies

Materials

3-ring binder (1/2" or larger)
Pen or pencil
Flash Drive (provided by CAHS with a replacement cost of $12.00)

Classroom Expectations

Be on time and prepared for class.
Be respectful and responsible for your actions.
Uphold high standards and work ethics.
Keep the classroom neat and clean (e.g., no food or drinks).
Accept and follow the policies and guidelines to the District's Electronic Communications System detailed in the Student-Parent Handbook.

Grading Policy

Major Assessments -
Projects and Skills Test- 50%
Minor Assessments -
Daily Work, Homework, and Quizzes - 50%

Late Work Policy

Ten point deduction for each day late.

Flash Drives

The flash drive required for Multimedia is stored and shall remain at all times in the classroom.

Tardies

Students are required to be in the classroom with all materials before the tardy bell rings. If a student receives 3 tardies in a grading period, s/he will receive detention.

Make-up Work

It is the student’s responsibility to get make-up work the day s/he returns to school. Daily class agendas and handouts are on the Internet. Students receive one make-up day for each day absent.

Computer lab availability is posted on each lab door.
