PSG Budget for 2009-2010
Parents!
Remember to sign up for Comm Arts PSG (Parents
Support Group). The membership
fee is only $5.00 per person and the class with the most paid parent memberships
will receive $100.00 for their class fund (each class raise funds for their
Senior Banquet). Deadline is October 26th. Have your student look for the
poster at school with the membership envelopes. Your student can return
the envelope to Ms. Roberts in the office.
PSG is a great way to be involved with your
child’s
school and stay informed about upcoming events. The PSG meetings are the
4th Tuesday of
each month.
Remember the money raised stays at the school:
- Senior Scholarships
- Year end Banquet
- Monthly staff & teacher appreciation
- School improvements
- Student activity support

meeting will be: Tuesday,
October 27, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in the CAHS Lecture Hall.
(The meetings will now be on the 4th Tuesday of the month). Mrs.
West,
the CAHS counselor, will be our guest speaker.

Volunteering is a great way to … give back to the community, boost
your college resume, and most importantly, see how it takes so little
to make a big difference in the life of another. Here’s an easy
way to get information and sign up! You and your teen can meet with
representatives from more than 30 non-profit organizations who are looking
for teen volunteers.

Open Positions
Every
year, “graduating parents” that
are officers or chair committees leave vacancies
in the Parents Support Group. Please consider
these positions either by speaking to an officer/chair or to be nominated
by a member. There may be
some other positions available on a following update but at this particular
time the duties of these open positions are as follows:
DUTIES:
President-elect: Be in training overall
for the president position the following school year. Take membership
duties with assistance and
guidance. No prior experience is necessary.
