Digital Graphics and Animation is a special elective open to 11th and 12th graders.
This is an independent, project-oriented class that emphasizes creativity and exploration. Students will use the software programs introduced in the Multimedia II class (new for 2010-2011: Adobe Creative Suite 4) to produce a variety of projects designed to enhance their knowledge and practice of digital graphics and animation. In addition, readings and discussions on the history and ongoing development of multimedia will be assigned throughout the course.Students in this class will also share their research on software and design subjects of their choice by teaching lessons, which will include a demonstration, guided practice, handouts and assignments for the class to complete.
