The
Biology Honors course covers the objectives of the NISD Academic Standards.
Life processes are studied at the molecular level, including nutrition/energy,
response, growth, reproduction, and organization. This information is the foundation
for further studies of genetics, diversity of life over time, ecology, and the
human systems. Forty percent of the experience is hands-on and/or laboratory based
for optimal learning.
