English II
The spring semester of English II is designed to reinforce and expand reading and writing skills and to encourage students to read more regularly for escape, pleasure, and greater comprehension. Further, students should become aware of the various types and characteristics of fiction, poetry, and drama. While the spring semester is primarily focused on writing, it is also designed to provide students with a greater understanding and comprehension of literature.
