Cynthia Driggers earned her B.A. at the University of Texas
at San Antonio. Although her specialization was bilingual instruction,
she also studied Spanish in the hope of teaching others about
the language and culture she loves.
Mrs. Driggers has traveled to many parts of Mexico and would
like to visit other areas of Latin America. She spent a year
working in Ecuador and learning the regional language, and was
fascinated by the natural beauty of the country and its rich
culture. The experiences she had in these places created a passion
for the Spanish speaking countries that she would like to pass
on to her students.
She has taught in the elementary and middle school levels and
is excited about joining CAHS and moving up to the secondary
level. Her hobbies are reading, dancing, and learning about different
cultures.
