Cynthia
Driggers earned her B.A. at the University of Texas at
San Antonio. Although her specialization was bilingual instruction,
she also studied Spanish in the hope of teaching others about the
language and culture she loves.
Mrs. Driggers
has traveled to Portugal, Spain, France, and many parts of Mexico.
She also spent a year working in Ecuador and learning
the regional language, and was fascinated by the natural beauty
of the country and its rich culture. Her experiences in these foreign
countries has created a love for knowledge of other cultures and
a renewed interest in the Spanish language that was taken for granted
in her youth. She would like to teach the students that, because
of modern technology, our world is becoming more global and learning
another language is becoming an important aspect of our society.
