United States History Advanced Placement
In the first half of this full year course, students will explore U.S. History from European colonization through the Civil War. The second semester will cover the era from Reconstruction through the 1980’s. This is a topical survey course with emphasis on social, political, and cultural history. In preparation for college work and the Advanced Placement exam, students will engage in intensive writing and document analysis throughout the year.
