The naming of all new Northside Independent School District schools and facilities is governed by
Northside ISD Board Policy CW(L)-X: NEW FACILITIES. Individuals may submit a nomination via this
website or by calling 210-397-8770 and requesting a nomination packet.
Schools of the District shall be named by the Board.
Consideration shall be given to naming
elementary schools after the area or subdivision in which they are located or after individuals who have made significant contributions to the educational program of the District or the community.
Consideration shall be given to naming
middle schools after prominent Texas leaders who have made significant contributions to education.
Consideration shall be given to naming
high schools after noted justices of the Supreme Court of the United States.
