Grades 6-8
Northside Independent School District middle school students are offered interdisciplinary units on broad-based issues, problems, and themes reflecting student interest. Incorporated into these studies are strategies which emphasize

- self development
Alpha Middle School students participate in various interdisciplinary units as scheduled by individual schools. A content connection between the ALPHA class instruction and content class is made to enhance the students' educational experiences. Nature Venture and Mentathlon are two special annual ALPHA events in which G/T students from all Northside middle schools participate.
The other middle school level of the Northside ISD Gifted and Talented program is EXCEL Math.
