STARS
STARS is an acronym for Science Techniques After Regular School. It
is a science enrichment program intended for students with a high interest,
rather than a strong aptitude, for science. The activities presented
in STARS employ the inquiry method, but are not related to a science
content objective. STARS classes meet weekly from 3:05-4:05 for 7 consecutive
weeks. Presently, there are eight STARS curriculum units. If you are
interested in this program, contact your school for details.
