better teachers in their native countries. They talked to
Elrod students in 2-5 grades to improve their English speaking

annual Fall Book Fair was a HUGE success! A big thank you
goes out to all our volunteers who helped us run the book
fair. We couldn't do it with out you. Elrod holds 2 book
fairs per year to raise funds for the library so our librarian,
Mrs. Colvin, can earn for free and purchase new books and
invite authors and story tellers to our school for our students'
enjoyment. (We also host a "Holiday Shop & Book
Fair" the first week in Dec. to raise funds for technology
and library needs. Be on the look out!)

As
Elrod Eagles joined hands, Sept. 11, 2007, we honored those
whose lives were taken on our American soil in terrorist
acts against our citizens the 11th of Sept., 2001, just
6 short years ago. We remember those who suffered, those
who were lost and the brave who came to the rescue. Just
as we stood together then, we stand together now.
