Elrod celebrated Geography Awareness Week, promoting geographic fluency
with a Geography T-shirt Day. On Nov. 18, students picked their favorite
t-shirts that locate a specific location on a map. Prizes were awarded
to students who wore t-shirts farthest and closet
to the hotspot location on our principal, Mrs. Whisenant's t-shirt.
Some of the geographic locations worn on t-shirts were Korea, Mexico, California,
Baltimore, Atlantic City, Jerusalem, Guam, Paris, Italy and many more!

for her fellow classmates. She
exhibits the valuable character
traits needed essential for future employment and success in life.
The Tim Duncan Character Award encourages and rewards students
who have learned and demonstrate core character traits at school.
What a perfect example! Congratulations Abigail!
