PTA Membership: Consider becoming a member of the Elrod PTA. By joining you are included in the ranks of over 6.5 million others who believe in the safety and welfare of all children. You will also become a member of the Texas State PTA and National PTA. The PTA presence at Elrod is an effective and welcomed one. The membership fee is $8.00 per person.

Did you know? PTA provides funds and supports the following:

Elrod is participating in General Mills’ BoxTops for Education program.  General Mills pays the PTA $.10 for each box top label turned in.  Our goal this year is to raise $3000 to support tutoring and other projects at Elrod.  To make things exciting, we are hosting a school-wide contest. The classroom sending in the most boxtops by the school year’s end will receive a ice cream sundae party! Check out the bulletin board in Elrod’s front entry displaying the contest’s current status; each classroom is represented by an ice cream sundae, and each cherry represents 100 boxtops contributed. This is an amazing example of how saving $.10 at a time really adds up!

Labels for Education™ is an easy, fun way to help our school get free educational merchandise, including computers, sports equipment and musical instruments.
